The Fund

Escalatec is Bolivia's first venture capital investment company that supports startups with high potential for growth and scaling across Latin America.

  • • We invest in early-stage startups and accompany entrepreneurs in their expansion process by connecting them with local and regional customers and investors.

  • • We invest in Bolivian digital talent with the potential to grow, generate employment, and provide solutions for the country and Latin America.

  • • We generate access to venture capital to strengthen and boost the technology ecosystem in Bolivia.

  • • We started operations in 2019 as a program of the Solydes Foundation in conjunction with SOLYDES Accelerator.

The Focus

We focus on innovative, technology-based startups in their early stages that are high-performing and raising a pre-seed and/or seed round. We partner with startups that have achieved Product Market Fit, demonstrated traction, and have a committed team working full-time.

We prioritize capital investment in the verticals of Agrotech, Fintech, Edtech, Healthtech, SaaS, E-commerce, and Marketplace. We seek committed entrepreneurs with the ability to execute their solutions to grow and generate an impact in Bolivia and Latin America.
