With the aim of promoting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in our country, SOLYDES is supporting CAPCEM with the “Business Inclusion Closed-end Investment Fund” (BI-CIF) initiative.
The purpose of the CAPCEM foundation is to enable MSMEs graduating from microfinance to enter investment markets. Accordingly, it has developed a High-Impact Inclusive Investments model and set up an investment fund management company called CAPCEM SAFI S.A.
This company manages two closed-end investment funds. The first, IE-FIC, focuses on MSMEs engaged in trade and services. The second, called DIV-FIC (Diverse Export-Import Closed-end Investment Fund) is for capital goods export-import MSMEs.
Fundación SOLYDES is involved in the IE-FIC investment fund to take forward the High-Impact Inclusive Investments model and enable MSMEs to access the investment market in a gradual, well-informed way.
